Yitzhack Asulin, MD, FACS, FACOG, is a board-certified gynecologist and Director of Female Pelvic Reconstruction and Robotic Surgery at Institute for Gynecology Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery in Englewood, New Jersey.

A pioneer in minimally invasive and robotic gynecologic surgery, Dr. Asulin was among the first surgeons in the U.S. to adopt robotic surgical technology more than a decade ago. Today, he serves as Director of Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery at several hospitals throughout northern New Jersey, including Holy Name Medical Center, Hoboken University Medical Center, and Christ Hospital in Jersey City.

Dr. Asulin specializes in advanced robotic and laparoscopic procedures for conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, and pelvic pain. Recognized for his surgical excellence and innovative approach, he has trained physicians nationwide in robotic techniques and continues to advance the field of minimally invasive women’s health.

A graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine, Dr. Asulin completed his OB/GYN residency at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons / Stamford Hospital in Connecticut, where he served as Chief Resident and was recognized as an Outstanding Laparoscopic Surgeon. He later completed fellowship-level training in minimally invasive gynecology and has since earned the designation as a Surgeon of Excellence in Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery by the AAGL.

Dr. Asulin is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and an active member of the American Urogynecologic Society and the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons. He lives in Tenafly, New Jersey, with his wife and three children.
